Elementary
Elementary students can sign up to participate in our morning program for math, our afternoon program for language arts, or our weekly Foundations program which provides full day of projects and learning activities based on literature. Supervision is not provided between morning and afternoon unless you are a Core or Foundations Student.

Elementary Students signed up in Individual Classes will need to be picked up at 11:00 and/or dropped off at 12:00 as recess and lunch supervision is only included with Foundations and Core programs.

Math classes and Concept Labs meet bi-weekly for 30 weeks

Individualized lessons are taught and participation in our math concept lab is included. Our Math Concepts Lab incorporates activities, media, games, projects, and critical thinking challenges to enhance learning and provide a rich experience while eliminating gaps in knowledge.

Our Elementary Language Arts program provides a rich study of many topics that make language study relevant and of high interest to students, giving context to their phonics, reading and writing lessons.   

Our Middle and High School English classes are literature based with an emphasis on creative expression, enjoyment of learning, and progress in oral and written communication skills.  As students become ready, they will also learn the standard styles of essay writing, editing skills, advanced literary concepts, speech, and debate.

Elementary History is part of our Foundations course.

Middle School World Cultures combines literature, writing, geography, history, presentations, and projects based on a particular culture or country.  Writing assignments from MS English I are tied to literature, presentations,  and projects about the current World Culture study.

Our History classes are taught with an emphasis on the story of history, looking at people, events, and facts combined with interesting stories and perspectives of differing groups.  Podcasts, reading of historical literature, movies, and projects may be assigned between class meetings.

Our Science classes are research and lab-based.  Students do all the projects, experiments, demonstrations, and research under the guidance of their teacher with research and reading assigned in between meetings.
